Tuesday the 10/10-2006. :
We're sorry to announce that Steffen has left lisa vegas. He has been a very big part of us for a very long time, both musically and personally, but he has choosen to walk another path. We have cancelled our shows in the fall, but we still plan on keeping the sping tour in 2007, and we will let you know as soon as we find another guitarist. In the meantime, we will focus on writing new material, so be patient, we will be back...

Hello everybody. I finally updated the photogallery with 7 new photosessions from the past 6 month. We've been quite busy, so pardon me for being a little behind on the updates. We have had a fantastic spring/summer with lots of shows and lot of good things happening, and we are all excited about the progress. We have decided to take the rest of the summer and the fall to write new songs, so we won't be on the road, except for a couple of shows in the later on this year. Keep yourself posted on the site to find out more, or submit to our newsletter by sending an e-mail to vegas(a)lisavegas.dk. We have been pronounced "band of the week" at the Danish music site MyMusic.dk, as well as we have been nominated for "mymusic-legatet" and the "u-Hørt award" witch will be presented to the winners at april 1st at Vega, Copenhagen. Besides that, we have recieved a GREAT review by Rasmus Ardahl from mymusic.dk's revierwer staff on our EP. 5 out of 6 possible points. Thanks to everybody who has supported us in any way! We hope you'll keep doing so...

The site has been fully updated today. I've posted samples of the songs from our EP on the site, except "I Love you" and "Your Absence", witch are full length songs. You'll find them in the media-section as well as pictures from the releaseparty. Please enjoy, and feel free to comment on the songs in our guestbook. In time, all the songs will be posted on the site in full length. Until then you can buy your own EP in the shop-section if you feel like it.

Monday the 07/11-2005. :
Our releaseparty last Saturday was a night we will remember always... Lots of people showed up, lots of records were sold, and it was a pleasure to perform. We would all like to thank everybody who helped us making this evening possible (You worked your asses off for us!) as well as the people who showed up, the people who made this record reality, and everyone who bought it! Least, but not last the ones who stood by us, and believed in us from the very beginning. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!

We were sorry to cancel the gig at Badstuen, Odense last saturday (15/10-05). Anders were in the hospital for several days. It's still possible to catch us in concert at Hollywood Hardrock, Fredericia, next friday (21/10-05) at 11.30 pm, and at our releaseparty the 5th of November at 8 pm. For those who showed up last saturday: We are really sorry to have blown you off, but there were no alternatives.

we will throw a releaseparty for our EP “Time stopped for 50 seconds and then…” on the 5th of November at 8 pm. It happens at Ungdommenshus in Frederica, Denmark. Drinks and snacks will be served along with the the sounds from our EP. We will perform a short set of our song and afterwards DJ Lindstrøm will put danceshoes on everyone. We have finally got a hold of the pictures from Lades Kælder (12/06-05) and our studiosession. They are now posted on this site in the Multimedia / Photogallery-section. Monday the 04/07-2005. :
After 5 days in the studio, we are almost done recording our 6 track EP. We hope to release it within 1½ month, when it has been mixed and mastered. We are all very satisfied with the way the songs have grown, and the capturing of the right moments, witch, (thanks to Ole Nørup, sound engineer and co-producer) are better than we had ever hoped it would be. We thank him for the effort and many workinghours he has put into this band.

Monday the 13/06-2005. :
A great gig yesterday on Lades Kælder along with Tanja Appehl. Eric Klitgaard once again showed up to snap some pix. We thank him very much for taking the time. The pictures will be posted on this site and on Erics own site in a couple of days. We had a good time playing, and it seemed, the audience felt the same way. Our way home, on the other hand, was a trial. We ran out of gas in the middle of nowhere, 2 miles from Fredericia. Somehow we managed to get home safe and sound, but very tired. What should have been a 3 hour trip suddenly was a lot longer. A loooong night, but it was worth it...

For quite some time we have thought about making an EP, and now we finally got the studiosession planned. We start to record on June 26th, and nothing can make us stop before 1st of July. As soon as the EP is recorded, mixed, mastered, and ready for distribution, we'll let you know.

Sunday the 15/05-2005. :
The singer/songwriter Tanja Appehl has asked lisa vegas to join her when she performes at Lades Kælder, Copenhagen on Sunday the 12th of June. Tanja describes her music as popmusik with a twist and folk-RnB. The concert is a part of the concept "Sunday Music Venue", witch is mostly a singer/songwriter-club every Sunday at Lades Kælder. Sunday the 08/05-2005. :
Good show, in Copenhagen at Studenterhuset yesterday. The place could have been more crowded, but we couldn't expect more with just one week of notice. We had a good time with the ones that showed up, and that's all that matters. The "shows"- section has been updated with 3 new gigs... check it out. We will be recording an EP with 4 or 5 songs in july/august at the new recordingstudio in Ungdommenshus. More about this on the site as soon as we know more.

This update's a bit late. Sorry about that... We came in 3rd in the Katapult contest. The price was a gift certificate. Wirebaby won the contest, The Rime came in second and Lagix 4th. And now for some messages: Are you a dedicated John Lennon fan? Do you find yourself thinking of noone else but good old John? Then you can't miss Thomas' publishing on his first book "Rundt om Lennon" (Around Lennon) on Saturday the 16th of April at 2 pm in Det Bruunske Pakhus, Fredericia. Thomas started writing the book in 2003, and now it's finally ready to be read. On this special occation, Steffen and I will play some Lennon and Beatles songs acoustic. We hope to see you there...

Wednesday the 09/03-2005. :
Great gig at Ideal Bar / Vega last wednesday, even though both Steffen and I fought a bad fever, and had only two days notice to re-arrange the four songs we were to play, to acoustic versions. Eric klitgaard, a very talented and experienced photographer, swung by to snap some pictures. They will appear on this page in a day or two. Eric has also been very kind to comment on the gig with a lot of flattering words on his homepage. You can read 'em here. We somehow managed to win the first round of the Katapultcontest. The final will take place at nygade 2, Middelfart on Friday the 18/03-2005 at 11 pm. Wirebaby (truck'n'roll), Lagix (r'n'b) and The Rime (rock) will be our competitors this evening. It will be a great evening of tension, good spirit and good upcoming music you wounldn't dare to miss out on. We'll se ya'll before ya'll know it...

We've just played our debut concert Sunday the 26th. It was a great night, with a great audience! We were a little overwhelmed to see that many people gathered because of us, but most of all pleased! Thanks to all of you who were there, or wanted to be there!

Did a major renovation today, some parts are still left to be renovated, but in general, more updates and new things yet to come. Also The time has come for us to try out our material in concert. Tuesday the 10/8-2004. :
We've just spend the weekend doing a live recording. It took place in an empty concert hall at Ungdommens Hus. With no one but ourselves, the people who helped out and candlelights we recorded 2 songs live. It has been a great experience for all of us, and we have gotten to know each other on a different level. At this time, we are about to add the finishing touch to the sound and then it's a wrap.
